Position:Home>Performing Arts> Anybody knows if guitar hero makes you lose ability at real guitar?

Question:Absolutely yes! Guitar hero has big keys, and few keys at that, this makes you more sloppy, and makes your fingers slide to different positions when playing because you are used to the wider note increments.

Maybe. I've heard from a few people that my husband shouldn't play it because he knows how to play guitar and has been playing for 20 years.

idk but I'm great at real guitar and i suck on guitar hero lol

here's a random question for you, (I am asking this because I play guitar too and I just don't see the appeal of that game).

What is the point of playing a guitar in a video game when you can do it in real life and the amount of time you would spend playing the game you could spend improving your actual playing ability?

i like video games, and I get that, but Guitar Hero is designed for posers, i mean how good is it to play like eddie Van Halen or Slash on a game if your real life guitar playing sucks?

it doesn't make any sense to me, its like playing a video game of jogging and wondering why you aren't losing weight. It might be good to be good at the game but when the fad wears off your skills in real life haven't improved.
