THere are a couple choices for who it might be. Looking at the production notes/liner notes for "The Bodyguard" Soundtrack, it lists three different saxophonists.
Kenny G (because he is on another track)
Kirk Whalum
Danny Wilensky
My money would be on Whalum, but that doesn't mean he actually did.
