Why is my Vibrato coming early?

Question:well when i sing it seems like my vibrato is develpeing too eartly what does that mean and i'm only in 7th grade

My son has had a nice vibrato when he sings since he was like 6 or 7.

What do you man by vibrato? If you mean that you are developing it very early, then I don't think you have anything to worry about unless it is bad vibrato (tremolo, wobble, fake vibrato).

Now if you mean it is coming in early on the vowel, it depends how it's being produced. If it is natural and good vibrato, then don't worry too much about it. A good vibrato should come in on every vowel and you should have no control over it (at least without tensing, and you shouldn't try to control your vibrato).

Some people think that changing vibrato (from a natural vibrato) can sound good; but, I think it just kills your voice, and makes notes sound flat.
