How do you sign with an agent?

Question:I would love to get into showbusiness, and i know it's not as simple as picking an agent and becoming famous, but i am curious as to how you go about finding an agent to represent you, and how much on average an agent would cost. Thank you so much!

The price range is decided on how much experience you have and the quality of the agent. You can sign up to agencies that will send you auditions for you to go to. Just search on the internet. You will mainly find however that you will need to be in the vacinity of a large city like London or Manchester. Its not easy. I myself will be looking for one next year when i have finnished college, i know about these because of what my tutors have shown and told me. I live in Hull and have no chance to sign one unless i move.

There is also a magazine you can sign up for called "The Stage" and its full of auditions for you to go along to and tryout.
