Question:its just that, it would seem so nice ,to get paid for aj ob you love. and i would love to entertain people, espeically singing. on stage, with millions of people watching you over the world and makeing them cry cheer or anything is just great. so im wondering, do they have schools that teach you how to sing? like vocal work? please let me know. because i reseacrhed acting schools and there like 4,000 dollars for like 3 weeks so im just wondering if there is such thing as schools/coleges that help you with vocal work. please let me know and if there is such thing what is it called. thanks alotfor the people who took the time to read this and answer it. this is my lifelong dream job. thanks alot

just like you can find people to teach you how to play an instument, there are people who will teach you how to sing ( it's called voice lessons) you can look them up in the classifieds.

a word of caution though. there are people who are just trying to make an easy buck by claiming to do voice lessons and they really screw up your voice. do some research before you choose someone, insist on sitting in on a lesson and see what their technique is and if the student sounds good to you.

i probably need to brush up on my singing anyway, i was in choir in highschool and was a great singer ( thats another thing, you can join a choir, like at church or something) but i havent sung really in the years since then.

Depending on your age, location and type of music that you want to do, there are conservatories, which are basically colleges that specialize in music, or else community colleges, that can at least give you a beginning. But remember, there are millions of people who all want the same thing, so competition is fierce.
