Oh, I want to go to that so bad! In Fort Worth, you'll see all types at the symphony. Traditionally, you dress pretty nice to go to performance halls for concerts like that. Not necessarily a formal evening gown at a Sunday afternoon concert, but "church" clothes. However, the last concert I attended at Bass Hall was Alexander Kobrin (the Van Cliburn gold medalist) playing with the symphony. We saw people in evening gowns. We also sat near someone wearing blue jeans and a tie-dye shirt...... with a sport jacket thrown over it to give him a little "class". Now, bear in mind...... I made fun of him silently. :) Just about anything is "acceptable." But I'd lean toward a nice dress or slacks outfit for women, and slacks and a dress shirt for men.

Enjoy Bass Hall. If you've never been there before, try to get there a little early to take it all in. It's a gorgeous place. And be sure to go downstairs and use the restroom..... or at least look at it.

welllllll it depends on the concert. a Hilary Hahn or Joshua Bell concert would be more formal, while a ricky skaggs, or some rock group would probably be a little less formal. just shine your boots, pull out your nice hat, put on your sunday best, and you should be fine. enjoy the concert :)
