The numbers are the frets....6th fret on the E string 8th fret on the A string 8th fret on the D string....play these together like a chord and thats it. Don't play G-B-E open with these or it will sound bad. The X's are for palm muting...just mute the strings with your left hand an strum a couple times before playing the next power chord.
