Question:How much does an upright bass ((double bass?)) cost? And to the people who play it: Do you enjoy playing it? Did you play other sting instruments before you played it or did you start out with it?

I had quite a few friends that played the upright bass. They played lot of different string instruments. In fact one of my friends, who you would never had guess by looking at him- huge punk spikes, ratty jeans, ramones t-shirts- played the violin too. So, anything is possible.
