What you are describing is the "break" in your voice or "passaggio". When you warm up with your scales and exercises, you can actually pinpoint the notes where your break occurs. This is the place where "chest voice" meets "head voice".

There is nothing wrong with your voice. This is not the same as a crack in your voice. Every beginner has this. Warm-ups are exercises that help us to smooth over these breaks with continual air, tone and sound.

Just hum gently through the break going up in pitch and down in pitch until you have control over the transition. Happy Scaling!

maybe you're going through puberty. lol

if your 10-17ish its puberty.

Puberty is certainly the best answer. Of course you may have a second person in you. You'll have to determine that yourself. You might consult a pediatrician.

You are supposed to sing (and sound somewhat different) when you sing in your chest, middle and head voices. Otherwise you can cause damage. You do siren type exercises to help sing from one to the next smoothly.
