Why are men suddenly so shy, when tey have to.........sing karaoke ?

Question:From my experience guys are actually less shy than women about singing in public. Especially regarding auditions, women tend to go so far as to have nervous breakdowns before going on stage.

b/c they dont want to look any worse....we prefer to make ourselves look bad, not have the situation do it for us

uh....cause they dont wana break their vocal cords by talking....therefore making them shy

depends on the man....

maybe cause they think they will make a fool of themself

well, you know, guys like to act tough and perfect at everything. Singing isn't one of a guy's best talent and to avoid embarassment, they normally just don'y sing

Because men get nervous for certain things like women do, some can make speeches, some can strut it on the dance floor, but very few would be willing to go up and sing in public.

You must be hanging out in the wrong karaoke bars
Every one I've been to the guys (as well as the girls) are not a bit shy to get a microphone and belt out tunes like they were in their shower.

b/c we don't want u to hear our real emotions.
