Position:Home>Performing Arts> About how much is this clarinet worth?

Question:My mom said it was aleast from the sixty's, it was my Grandmom's cousin's clarinet. It says Otello Italy on it, but I don't know where to find a year on it. It's in pretty good condition, could use a little cleaning up.

No one can give you an estimate online. You have to take it to a clarinet specialist in your area so they can assess the instrument. Outside of cleaning it, they will look at the wear and tear on the finger pads, quality of wood/plastics, see if there are any cracks in the instrument...

You will not find a year on the instrument, only a serial number which they can use to track the year it was put together.

You have to take it in, with out someone actually seeing it and inspecting it you will not know the value.
