Position:Home>Performing Arts> La campanella ??

Question:The first time i heard this piece is was being played at a rather slow tempo. I liked it, but I hear alot of people saying "it SHOULD be played like this " and people seem to think it sounds much better when its played fast. I like the little waltz sound to it though, when its being played slowly. Its hard though, because I really have no idea how fast this song is supposed to be played. Can anyone tell me ?

La Campanella was written (at least twice) by Franz Liszt. I posted a fairly accurate midi link below that is an interpretation of an earlier piano roll. There is also an article by Wikipedia with extensive information on it. If you don't have a way to play midi files (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) download Van Basco midi player

You have excellent taste by the way, this is a very nice piece.
