Eek, everything soprano range!

Well, if you're looking for a cabaret-burlesque act, then you will want to put together some humorous dialogue or skits and use the mando-s.sax duet (does he sing as well?) for colorful little interludes. I'm imagining music along the lines of "Zoo Blues" by Robin Williamson and his Merry Band. Perhaps a George-and-Gracie type of comedy--altogether it would take on a kind of Jimmy Durante quality.

"Mansax"

Is the Chicken Shack in Nevada, still open for business? A most appropriate venue!

Sounds like an excellent opportunity for a vaudeville style sort of thing, tin-pan-alley era, ragtime music. A lot of vintage vaudeville acts were odd instrument combinations, and capitalized on it. Also, being that both instruments are in the treble clef, a uke and sax sort of sound came to mind.

What a great idea! Bravo!

As for tunes, selections from the musical "Cabaret" would of course be excellent. Tangos, my favorite composer of which is Astor Piazzola, would be sexy as hell. There's this fun little tune called "Zorba the Greek" that is a Greek mandolin dance tune, but it's fun as all get-out. A popular recording of a modernized version is on the Soundtrack to the movie "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels," but finding the music may be difficult. If you have the ear, though, transcribing it wouldn't be too difficult.
