Guitar strumming help! ;(?

Question:Well my bff is going to have her 15th party in 2 months and her mom asked me to play the guitar and sing to the song True Friend by miley. Well, i mean i get the chords and evrything, but i cant find the strumming pattern! Does anyone know where i can find it for free???

There aren't strumming patterns. Start with a downward motion, and go from there. It's up to the individual.. If you can't figure out a pattern for yourself, just use downward strums for each chord.

well if you know how to play by tabs you can possibly go to e-tabs thats where i find my stuff.

I don't know the pattern, but I go to Campbell Hall, and everyone says that she is going to come here next year. Pretty cool.
