Hi Josephine,

Be confident in knowing what you already know. No one is looking for perfection in a violinist. They want to see if you are a team player (no pun intended) and can hold your own. I've done lots of auditions and I'm always nervous. It's part of the experience. It's completely normal. Try and get some exercise today. Don't over practice. I know some players can practice for hours, but only run through your repertoire once or twice, then leave it.
The bananas help. I also use Rescue Remedy drops. You can find them in a homeopathic store. Made by Bach (not a joke!)

Get a good night's sleep. Stop practicing. Eat a banana for breakfast (no coffee). Breath.

Stop freaking out! Hehe.

I don't play violin, but I do sing and act and have made the parts I have tried out for in the past.

*Have confidence
*Smile a lot, but not too much
*Don't be over confident, then you'll have pride and people won't like you
*Have fun!!
*Practice
*Be yourself

That's helped me in the past. :)
