Position:Home>Performing Arts> What is a good acoustic guitar for under $200?

Question:I know there are many very similar questions, but I wanted to ask for myself personally. Main reason is: I AM NOT BY ANY MEANS A BEGINNER. I have been playing for many years, and have much experience choosing guitars. Fortunately I have always been in a situation to play very high quality guitars, in fact, I cant stand playing anything but a Martin, and have had several in the past. Now though, I have had to sell everything I own recently due to a bad economic situation. Now I find myself needing a guitar (Acoustic only please) but cannot spend more than $200. Can anyone with similar experience help me? Especially if you know of a brand that is similar/or copy of a Martin. Ive heard Maxam is a decent copy and quality.

A lot of it is personal preference, but here are several makes where you can get one of decent quality for $200.00 or less:

Yamaha
Fender
Jasmine
Washburn

i found a good quality Fender DG-7 acoustic coasted me about 250 maybe a little more at guitar center...if you catch that guitar on sale it would be lower than 200
