Guitar Chord Solo?

Question:i'm playing Basshunters now your gone song for my GCSE music exam http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=IgFwiCApH7...

Theres just me on guitar nd one person singing, in the middle of the song there is a break, what can i play in that break to boost my marks, i cant do a usaul solo because there is no one else to continue the chords while i'm playing.

Is there a way i can play a solo with chords, the chords that are meant to be played are Am, F, G and C

how can i play them differently and what can i do to them to get me a better grade?

Maybe you could add a bit of a scale to it like G major seven.
