Question:Some times when I try to play Enatural Eflat and D it gets the raspy sound and doesn't come out the first time and does this frequently. I tried out all the keys and its the highest main key, so the key your left pointer goes on but not the whole key its the part that doesnt cover the whole. some times it comes on, and i also have problems with some upper notes too. any suggestions? and when i play those same notes under the staff they come as gurgles

Make sure your embouchre (many years.. forgotten spelling) is tight but not tense for those high notes. You should have your teacher check your pads. How often do you clean out your oboe? If you're taking a moment to think, it's probably a good time to pull the cloth through it a few times and clean out the inside. A moldy oboe is probably the most disgusting thing you'll ever witness should you neglect your oboe's daily maintenance.

Hope this helped! Haven't played oboe in a long time but I still got it!

Have you had your teacher check all your pads?

Because you talk about having trouble reaching the extreme ranges, it sounds like an embouchure and vowel problem. Sit down with a teacher or a veteran oboe player to get help with this one.
