Whatever you put your mind to....you can accomplish....if you can think it you can make it happen....and remember....if you shoot for the moon, but miss you'll land amongst the STARS!

hope i helped inspirationally.....!

If you want to be an actress and it's your passion keep trying. There are so many performers out there that were told they'd never make it and they turned out very successful.

You can do whatever you want but if that makes you feel bad, get ready for worse. To become famous in Hollywood, you have to have a really thick skin, something you don't have now. But you set your mind to something, then go for it!

how old are you?
Not sure what stuff it is you dont have, but things like confidence and remembering lines help, and you can get better at it.
Try to find inspiration in the work of other actors (not their lifestyles, their performances!). This is a great motivation for any interest, wether you want to be a mechanic or an astronaut.
For example, budding musicians usually have an older musician they look up to. Realizing their obstacles and work can inspire someone to play better.
Your teacher sounds miserable and probably just wants to see another person lose their dreams just as they did.
I would ask her specifically what is wrong, or tell him/her to screw off if they can't help you . It is their job to teach you by telling you what you need to improve on.
If this is your dream you have to follow it.

I've been an actor for more than 35 years. I am 43. First, tell your friends to go find another punching bag. I'd dump all but the best one right now. Secondly, ask yourself-- is your teacher a professional actor/actress, or a teacher? What does that say about his/her actual knowledge of the subject? And thirdly, some of the best professionals I've worked with over the years had to LEARN the finer techniques of the craft. Very, very few people are just "born with it". Yes, there IS a certain amount of innate talent needed, but someone your age (I'm assuming you're still in ghigh school) is hardly old enough to know if that talent is actually there or not. For heaven's sake, you're still just growing up! You'd be surprised how many talents are hiding deep down, waiting for the storms of adolescence to pass. Utterly disregard what others are saying about your abilities, as they have never seen what you could do with years of training and experience, only what you've done while intimidated and belittled on every side. I have to ask, though-- do you want to be an "actress", or a "movie star"? There is a massive difference. An "actress" works up to sixteen hours a day with little or no rewards, gets told "no" nineteen times for every one "we'll think about it". She is looked up and down like a side of pork, judged solely on her hairstyle by one director, her voice by another, and whether or not she complements the leading man by yet a third. Rarely does a director care where you're from or what you can do. Acting is ninety percent image (TV and films, anyway) and there's nothing personal about the rejections. Seriously, it's nothing personal because they don't know you. If you want real work with rewards (however intangible), stick to stage. At least appearance is less important there (makeup does wonders onstage, in film you're five times bigger than life so it can only do so much). Anyway, I wish you the best. Never, ever, EVER let someone tell you you're "not good enough", or you "can't do something". They're not professionals, are they? So what are THEIR opinions REALLY worth?

I say don't listen to them. If that's really what you want to do, then you can do it. If they say that you're not a good actor, well, maybe if you practice it can become easier. Good luck!

Some people may have natural talent, but anyone can learn to act.

If you want to succeed in the creative arts, you've got to get used to harsh criticism.

If you love it, stick with it. Believe in yourself! And, get a different teacher.

Well the future is unpredictable but hey some of my teachers and friends say that I will never be a writer because I am not good enough. want to know what I say...
buzz of my business. okay no thats not what I say but hey if you want it go for it just keep in mind that there will be obstecles in the way. so nock them over good luck and most importantly...
HAVE FUN DOING IT!!!!!!!!!

first of all, you can never end up as a bad actress, unless you dont practice

just dont give up and keep practicing!

however, a word of advice about going into the acting profession, please have another job and dont count on your earnings. im not saying that youre not cut out to be an actress, im just telling you that you have to have an extra job because you dont usually get a lot of money as an actress. beliave me there are actors and actresses who ended up serving in restauraunts for a while, also actresses and actors usually end up having terrible lives. if you dont beliave me look at lindsey lohan, marilyyn monroe, britney spears, and that 16 year old about to have a baby. as you can see from them, they were or are pretty messed up. now im telling you, if acting is what you love, do it but have an extra job that you can do to keep making money and not end up broke!
