Position:Home>Performing Arts> What's the name of the beat that high school drumlines play at parades?

Question:They play it at football games too. I can't find the name for it.
It's so popular and it's so simple, I wish I can tap it out for you but I can't.

I'm not exactly sure, but a lot of drumlines have their own "cadence," and that's the beat that the rest of the band marches to.
In my own experiences, the cadence has been a blend of things that the drumline members have composed themselves and other songs (my sophomore year's cadence was a blend between original compositions and Queen's "Under Pressure" beat).
I know that's not much help, but...
