Position:Home>Performing Arts> Any suggestions for a piano piece to play?

Question:i'd rather not have classical pieces, but what i want to play is something that would stay in your head for hours. i'm not that advanced yet, either. i can't play fast tempos, my hands can't keep up. maybe slow(not too slow) tempos? i'm asking if anyone knows a piano piece that's nice to play and listen to.

Gilbert Di Beneditti has a site that sounds right up your alley. I would recommend looking at the "Spinning Song" by Albert Ellmenreich, but there are a lot of pieces at all levels to pore over, copy out and try on for size. When your fingers get their fill, take a look at his music theory section. Hope this helps.

how about Des'ree Kissing You... it's simple and people get all excited that you can play it because it sounds far more complex than it really is.

This is gunna sound crazy But its true Find the sheet music to the complex version of the "Mario brothers theme song" it is extremely rad and impressive and not only that any one who See's/ hears you play it who recognises the song will think of you as a hero!!!! GO MARIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sadness and sorrow.

You have not described your level of musical education or what you like to play, but many people enjoy "Stairway to Heaven."
