Electric guitar songs?

Question:I am a begginer on electric guitar been playing now for 1 - 2 months and know most open-position chords and was wondering what is a good easy to playsong to start out on electric guitar that will also help me to change chord faster lol

I know this is the same boring answer I gave to a similar question but I am fond of the Ramones. Their songs,
in my opinion, are like perfect how-to-play-guitar tracks.
The strong rhythms help lock you in the groove and
there aren't a lot of different chords (lol)!
And the songs are kind of fast.
It all depends on if you like their music...Rolling Stones
are good too. All of my friends started out playing guitar
to Brian Jones and Keith Richards. Yeah, I know...old guys.

Go back to the sixties. The 12 -bar blues things like Johnny B Goode(have you seen Back to the Future?). Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog , Roll Over Beethoven etc. They all use A D E.

I like what David C had to say about Ramones. Not only will you learn to change chords fast but you will learn bar chords as well.

One secret to Ramones songs is the guitar strumming is all down strokes. This takes some mastering, and once you got it, it still takes some mental/physical warming up to do it again fluidly.
