When are the America's got Talent auditions over?

Question:I am thinking about sending in a tape just so my friends will leave me alone about it. They say I should go for comedian or singer. I don't know what one to go for. Can someone give me advice. Please don't say stuff like "why do you want to enter your not gonna win blah blah" because I already know I might not win. I can give it a try though right? Even if I don't get on I can say I tried. But I got like half my friends telling me my music is better, and some are saying my jokes are better.

Go with what you think is best. Have you ever performed in front of a crowd? What's your experience with each one. It's really up to you. From what I hear they are starting the show in the summer. So probably soon.
