Question:Guitar
Bass
Saxophone
Piano
Drum Set

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Guitar
Bass
Saxophone
Piano
Drum Set

Guitar would take probably 5 months to master all the notes but it's straight forward.

Bass would maybe take 2-3 months because after guitar you got much more experience with stringed instruments.

Saxophone would take you in my opinion 1-2 months because it's a woodwind instrument, and again a straight forward instrument.

Piano can take you about 5-7 months. It's because it's a large instrument but if you know your notes well, your good.

Drumset, that in my opinion is a hard instrument because at first it's easy but to get the beat of the music might take you a while. Moving your hands and legs to get the beat/rhythm for the music and learned all the techinches might take you...probably 5-7 months or so. I'm not quite sure about it.

That would depend on how much effort you are willing to put forth into learning each. If you put in a lot of effort it will take a shorter amount of time, although it will still take a long time, just like learning any instrument does.

Well, you can learn them all rather quickly. Learning them all WELL will take years.

Speaking from experience--I've played over 100 instruments in performance--

You need to start on one and concentrate on that one until you're pretty good at it. All things being equal, my first choice would be piano (it teaches you a lot more about music in general); I would not start on bass.

But start on the one that inflames your soul the most! After you get good at it, move to another. Learning guitar will automatically give you some bass skills, so start guitar before bass and your learning curve will be steeper. After maybe 2-4 years of dedicated study on that first instrument, you should be feeling musical and ready to start the next one.

Drum set will be the most foreign to you, since it's the only one that uses feet extensively.

Once you've got these down, start on flute, mandolin, and congas :-)

start with piano. Get a MIDI-compliant keyboard, and then get yourself a program like Cakwalk Sonar or Cubase. With VST instruments, you can play them all. At the same time, even.

Other than that, get ready to be working on it for the next 20 years. 4 out of 5 of those instruments have a completely different mode of playing them. You can save a few years by learning guitar before bass.

Start out with Piano, it will help u when it comes to other instruments because u learn tone, key, chords, and like all of the notes, that could take a lifetime to master but to learn the basics and become a sort of intermediate maybe 6 months to a year. Then go to Guitar, it will probably take 4-5 months because u already will have learned the basics from the piano but you'll have to learn the fingering for each note and how to finger. Bass will maybe be 1 month tops because after u learn guitar, bass is simple. Saxophone may take 5 months, it is a lot different compared to the others, Clarinet only took me a few months to begin though but to master it was a couple of years. Drums you can play easily but to master them it could be a while.

This is what I suggest, get past the begginer level on each instrument, might take you a couple of years (that would be pretty long) then choose which ones you love, it's best to go and master 1 or 2 instruments at a time instead of slowly progressing through each. I know what u mean though, I love playing a lot of instrunments, but mastering could take a while, you could master guitar, bass, piano, and drum set though pretty easily, becasue guitar and bass are a lot a like, piano is the foundation for like all instruments, and the drums are easy to play. I don't know how old u are but if u are in school join the band, that way u could take saxophone in school and something else outside of school. To master all of these if u did it in the order I said it would take u 5 years tops, to perfect who knows, could take someone your whole life. Hope I helpped (=

5 days.

it all depends on your skill and dedication

If you freeze time, you can learn all these instruments, and then start time again. If you do this, then you can learn all these instruments in no time at all!
