Position:Home>Performing Arts> Do we sing in batheroom because the sound we sing echoes?

Question:Bathrooms have three main qualities that encourage us to sing. One - no one else (usually) is with you. Two - bathrooms are usually small enough that the dimensions will provide a natural resonance, a natural "bass boost", right around the lower part of the human voice. This makes our voice sound warmer and fuller, and better. You can still get a room resonance benefit from a larger room, but that means you have to project more... in bathrooms you don't. Three - all those hard surfaces help reflect high frequencies and don't absorb the low ones, adding to the bass boost and giving us some treble reinforcement as well. That's the reverb, or echoes, as you put it.

i sing in the bathroom because i get bored while im scrubbing and stuff LOL

When I'm in the bathroom i feel so alone.... that's why I sing in the bathroom....

Another important reason is nobody can't hear whatever we sing whether it's a bad lyrics or wrong song..... we have much freedom in the bathroom..... so we can sing like we wish.....In our own style.....

That's the reason!!!

I have a horrible singing voice so I don't really sing in the shower, although songs play back in my head and I sort of dance to them in the shower:)
