Question:I am doing solo ensamble for singing on saturday. I am really aiming for a 1. I have trouble hitting the e flat. It's just a little high and I'm afraid of cracking so any tips. And I have serious breathing issues too. I know how to take a good breath but I don't have many breaks so how can I keep full of air. Thanks

Well I'm a singer but for girls in soprano. Tips: Take deep breaths and make it last; Drink lots of water to clear your throat. Also you need to have good posture in order to sing well and properly. Also try lip trills to set your voice. Hope it helps!

well i am a percussionist when i went it was very hard to get a 1
but we also had 3 intruments to perform on

I understand your situation. I had breathing troubles. practice hisses with your mouth to strengthen your insides which support your breathing. then do some me-mae-ma's and keep going for as long as you can. really push with your stomach on that e-flat. I wish you the best of luck and I hope I helped a little.
