Ideas Arts Week?

Question:Next Month we will run our annual Arts Week at the school i teach at. I need some creative and artistic ideas on what to do. It is for a girls high school.

Also what are some good art events to do at an annual swimming carnival?

Any ideas would be a great help.

if not to dangerous , try cutting designs into tin cans (not aluminum) with acetylene cutting torch or plasma cutter tin cans and experimental metal sculpture provide awesome possibilities (recycled art) melting glass bottles in pottery kiln
all way out ideas seen @ last weeks art walk in my hometown
