Position:Home>Performing Arts> What are some easy guitar tabs for Acoustics?

Question:I got a new acoustic guitar for Christmas and I want to know what are some easy tabs that I can play on it. I know how to play tabs and everything and I have only been playing the intros to some songs. I want to know what are some good but slow songs that I could play all the way through. I am a member at ultimate-guitar.com and have tried looking for easy tabs to play and all I have found are things like happy birthday and America the Beautiful. Does anyone know any easy guitar tabs that are slow? Thanks!

Take a look at the Tablature section on "www.wholenote.com"

There is still tablature there for thousands of artist, and 100's of thousands of songs to choose from.

The scum bag lawyers have shut down most of the other good free tab sites, like the OLGA.

Also, if you like country, old and new, take a look at "www.countrytabs.com".

Good luck

PS: Beautiful picture......you are one very pretty Lady

Congratulations for getting a guitar. I've been playing many years.
Anyway...try these sites...justinguitar.com (Justin Sandercoe)
absolutely free lessons. He's really great. He shows you how to tune the guitar, 12 bar blues, finger exercises, scales (minor and major). You can choose what you want to learn and his videos move you from lesson to lesson. I've been taking lessons from him for many months and my playing has gotten so much better. He's really fabulous (in my opinion).

Also, tabcrawler.com and chordie.com. These sites have thousands and thousands of chords, tabs, artists and songs. They are both free and you can register if you want or just use the sites and find more and more songs from your favorite artists and the chords and tabs are all there.

Have fun playing and good luck.

G, A, C#m, C, D, E, F

You can play many songs with combinations og G, C, and A as well as C, D, E.

Try learning songs by the likes of Bob Dylan, They are easy to play, sometimes as little as 3 chords per song. But on top of this it will expand your repetoir of chords, which will be essencial in the future.

For a place to start , I would say perhaps learn Blowin' In The Wind, which only contains four chords, is fairly slow and is a beautiful song. Good luck with your guitar playing!!

They have books that are just three chord songs, the first songs I learned on the guitar were Proud Mary (CCR) and The First Cut is the Deepest (Cat Stevens), they also make Easy Tab versions of more complex songs try sheetmusic direct and sheetmusicplus websites, play what you like nothing is worse than practicing a song for hours on end that you aren't into.

There is another book Guitar tab white pages only $30 each book has over 200 songs in tabletaure I got mine at Barnes and Noble, I haven't mastered the Ritchie Sambora level stuff yet, but there are songs at all levels and styles it is the best $30 I ever spent.

Try this website.
