Question:anyone know how to get a clarinet apart..two pieces are stuck together..fairly new clarinet and expensive..any tricks you could tell me to help me get it apart would be appreciated..it was greased...its the part where you put the mouthpiece and the next piece..not the mouthpiece itself..thanks

Get a hair dryer and try warming up the joint- just WARM air, hot might damage things.

From what I know, try twisting the pieces opposite. If it doesn't work right away don't force it. Take it to your band instructor or your tutor or whomever you take lessons from.

Try twisting the pieces apart from eachother! if doesnt work, take it 2 the shop! Remember 2 use the grease.
