Position:Home>Performing Arts> Would this violin need a humidifier??????????

Question:I currently live in northern California, a relatively dry, cold place, and I use a humidifier for my acoustic violin. I plan on buying an electric violin from Shar Music, a wonderful company which I have bought from before, and which I'm sure many of you string players are familiar with. This is the violin:

I am not sure if it would need a humidifier because it has a plastic frame, but the main parts are wood. Can someone tell me please?? Thanks!
