That link will tell you everything about it and I have seen it twice and it is one of the most wonderful ballet I have ever seen it made me cry.

Just go with an open mind.

If you are open minded and capable of absorbing culture you will most likely enjoy at least some aspects of it.

If on the other hand you are a total ignoramus you will not enjoy it at all.

Take sleeping pills with you. I think you might need them.

its actually a really good ballet yet again i am a dancer so i enjoy those kind of things.
the story is a bout a little girl named Marie falls asleep after a party at her home on christmas eve and dreams herself into a fantastic world where toys become larger than life. She meets up with the Nutcracker Prince who defends her from the Mouse King. whenyou go just go wiht an open mind cause u might like it

The Nutcracker is great! I'm not much into ballet either, but the Nutcracker is something I would go to again. It's all based on a dream.

Its based one of the tales of Hofffman and is a bit of a, er, fairy story. Don't work too much about the story which involves a magic nutcracker, a childheroine Clara, mysterious godfather Drosselmeyer, Mouse King, Sugar Plum fairy etc etc. It has some cracking tunes and if well-prouduced surprisingly enjoyable (I saw it at the Boslhoi in Moscow, so maybe I was spoiled). The plot is a bit of a thin excuse for a lot of fairly famous routines. After three: 'Everyone's a fruit and nutcase ...'

If you don't like the dancing but have an ear for good music, just close your eyes and enjoy.

Bro just go and enjoy the dancing girls with great legs and butts.

I think you'll find the producers of these shows know there's a ton of guys who got dragged there by the ears so they throw us a bone.

you may think everybody up ther is really cute and sweet, but most of them start learning to dance at about age 4. By the time they hit the stage, they have had at least 10 years of training behind them. It's hard work, ballet dancing.
when did Tom Brady start playing? Or Eli? We know there are videos of them as little guys, right, and they still have had to put in years of work to get where are today. so if you think you got to watch a bunch of light-weights, think again.
and then there's the music. It's pretty toe-tapping stuff. If costumes and scenery are worth looking at, then you've got yourself one heck of a show to go to.
Keep an open mind, enjoy the athleticism at least.
Betcha you come away with a much nicer feeling than when you went in.
he-heh, let us know all about it.
I stood backstage one evening working props for a ballet. the folks running the oxygen tanks were in great demand that night, since it was up in Mexico City, higher up than Denver, Colorado, where the oxygen is 20% less than at sea level. Talk about athleticism!
( I can't dance, and I can't play football, but boy, I love to watch both!)

you i, promise will enjoy it,

I took my daughter to the ballet once, OMG it was sooooooooooooooooooooo boring, I think it just depends if it's your thing or not!
