Marquez brand Flute - is it good?

No. This is one of those flutes made in the Far east, where you can put ANY name on it you wnat. Keywork is soft, and will not hold up. Padding is poor. You are FAR better served getting a reputable brand - even if USED - than a terrible cheap instrument. Jupiter, Yamaha, Emerson, Pearl - all are better than some no-name.
