Position:Home>Performing Arts> What's a good hand/african drum?

Question:I want to start a hand drum or african drum. I really like bongos and the sound is cool, and I am thinkning about the brand Shalloch or Toca for some cheap first bongos. I also really like the Djembe, and I'd get a Remo if I was getting s djembe. So what do you think will be the best investment? If you say the bongos would be good let me know if Shalloch is a good brand.

Oooh! Bongos are really cool, as the congas but the thing to worry about is that your hands will get raw fast and easily. Sometimes you can crack your skin. If you do do the bongos, keep moisterizer with you!
