Depends on how the long the crack is, WHERE the crack is, and if the crack is fully through the wood or not. Like a windshield, sometimes the cracks might not go all the way through.

A crack on the body near or around the keys will be more pricey than a crack in the bell because the repairman will need to remove the keys to pin it well. If the crack is through the wood it will need to be pinned, if the crack is not it will need a special glue. The more work the repairman will have to do, the more it will cost due to labor.

The band director might have a deal with their repairman and you might have a lower price if you're lucky.

If you can tell me a little more about the crack, like I say above, I might be able to help you.

I've never cracked my clarinet, just bent keys...But it depends on where you send it.... and what your clarinet is made out of (wood, plastic, etc.)... and what your clarinet is (a Bb, a bass, etc.)

But..... I can suspect it won't be very cheap. Might wanna start saving up... Sorry about your clarinet!

I just played this thing at school but last time I checked it ranges from place to place. $75 - $300 depending on size, location, deepness is what I was told by my old teacher.
