What guitar could i get for about 150$?

Question:im just starting to play electric guitar but i need a guitar to start off with... im currently trying to buy a Ibanez GRX 40. but some people say that it isnt good and some say its awsome.. 0_o help me i dont know much about guitars so please tell me what you guys think

Get a Fender Squier. They are excellent value for money and I have never heard of anybody having any problems with them.
Get a Stratocaster copy. That will be in your price range. The Squier Telecasters are a bit more expensive.

I agree with the above statement. Great step for a beginner.

The guitarist in one of the power trios I played in had a $1100 Gibson SG and a Squire Tele and I saw him play the Tele a whole ot more.
