#1 You don't have to pay anything to get a REAL agent. Anyone who asks you for money is just trying to rip you off. Real agents know that they will make money off of you if you're truly talented.

#2 Are there any modeling agencies IN Bakersfield?

#3 If so, get your parents involved since you're a minor, you can't enter into a contract with an agency without their permission. Find out if the agencies have an open call, which is when you present yourself to the agency and they will determine whether you are a good fit or have the qualities that they are looking for.

#4 AVOID John Robert Powers and Barbizon and any other "modeling schools"
