Speaking from practical experience, you will always have some degree of nerves in the performing arts... What you CAN do to help get all your butterflies in formation though, is accept they are there and secondly, prepare like mad. Being able to perform your song in your sleep kind of prepared. Then, in the words of the imortal Constantin Stanislavsky ...."Let it go!" Now go and break a leg... :)

Practice, infront of your mirror, stuffed animals of a neighbor kid, parents, friends anything and then on the night just look past everyone. And most likely the lights will be so bright you won't be able to see anyone so just pretend like no one is there :) I had the same problem when I was younger.

Heres what you need to do i know the feeling. I am in the military and by George when giving commands out to your troops in front off your higher leadership you really start to think to yourself i hope i don't mess up. All you need to do is go to your ahppy place and DO NOT!!! stare at the crowd please don't you will loose your concentration. Just ignore the crowd seriously do what you do and when your done with your performance then look at the crowd if you like.

there is no pill ro ritaul or anything u do to get rid of anger...you just have to personally get over it their isnt an instruction booklet on how to or a dummies book ro anyhting!

Potassiam actually aides in this situation. eat a banana. I don't know the actual science behind it but it helps. Also practice lots because it will help with your confidence. Remember to have fun too because you will get over your nerves faster.

You should just practice until you are satisfied that you are the best you can be, then just give your all on your performance.

I don't think you quite can. Being nervous is natural when performing, but once you're into it you begin to forget about it a little, for you get very involved. I don't sing, but I have acted, and I expect them to both be at the same degree of anxiety.
And being nervous is partially what makes it so exciting and fun!
