I have both. so I wouldn't know.

Dancing is nice, but vocal ability is a true skill. Anyone can strength train or adopt rhythm but something is more graceful and skillful about vocals to my mind. The Magic flute is a good example of this in it's song "Queen Night". It's sampled in Kelis' song "Like you", her vocal range is sensational. You can lull a loved one into a very lovely state of relaxation and happiness, but hardly ever have I seen someone dance another into such a state.

Singing. I love to sing. People tell me I am pretty good at it, but I don't know. It's fun because I write my own songs as well. I don't necesarily want to be famous. I actually don't want to be famous at all. I just sing for fun.

Dance, I'd really like to learn. I like athletic things, and any kind of dancing requires a lot of grace and balance, all things I respect and would like to have.

Plus I play the violin and there's always a little good-natured ribbing that instrumentalists give vocalists and vice versa, so I wouldn't automatically want to be a singer :)

Sing

To be a good singer you pretty much have to have a little natural talent, but you have to have studied some too, while dancing people can pick up after varied training. So since i am a singer, singing is my passion and i'd die if i couldn't sign anymore!!!

i'd rather play sax, which I do and which is way better than singing or dancing.

I'd say voice I'm really shy so i dont think id dance even if i cud. Just learn to play the piano or guitar as well and your an istant Sandi Thom or Delta Goodrem.

i'm already thankful for my ability to sing cause singing is more of a natural gift/talent.
i can dance also, but i would want to dance better ;p

SING. It takes so much more practice to sing, and you're like a born singer. I love singing and I'm gonna be on Broadway one day, you all just wait!! It's hard to teach a dancer how to sing, but easy to teach a singer how to dance. If you're already a singer, you can do both!!
