Enroll in a college or university with a good drama department, study acting, appear in every production the school puts on, audition to be in local community productions as well, and eventually if you pay your dues and have exceptional talent, you MIGHT, just might, be able to actually make a living as an actor........

But while you're in college, be sure to study a field that will allow you to find a real job, just so you have something to fall back on in case the acting thing doesn't work out for you. Otherwise I hope you're good at waiting tables.

Most actors go to school. Many colleges have excellent acting programs.
