Position:Home>Performing Arts> Choir Audition Excersizes?

Question:I'm a coming sophomore and I plan to try out for our school choir. The only problem? I'm a band student and I haven't been in choir since fifth grade.

(I hope) I have an okay voice. In fifth grade I had a solo in the program at school. And sixth grade I was in the select choir. But in middle school I chose band over choir. That said, the last time I did anything singing related was six years ago.

Is there an excersizes or practices I can help myself with before the audition? I'm really nervous and anything with help. Thanks!

Try scales and arpeggios, move up a half step after each key.
Remember to breath and have good posture. When you audition, don't let your nervousness get to you. Just breath and relax your voice, stay calm.
