Ok, first of all make sure it's in a room with a regular temp. not to hot nor cold. Then make sure it isnt to tight. The high E is very thin and usually has more stress on it than the others. Mayb what you can do is when you are done playin, untighten the string a little bit so it wont have so much tension on it all the time. I have an eletric gutair myself and i also play the viola(sorta like a violin). That should fix the problem.

maybe your guitar's a bit too stupid

It is the thinnest and it also vibrates more often (higher frequency) than the other strings. Basically, it is working harder than the other strings.

maybe u have it to tight, maybe there a sharp part cutting the strings
