Is It Hard To Get Accepted With An Record Label? I want to be a singer like Massari (Known for being Canadian and a good singer), I am also Canadian, but I am working on sounding good because right now I sound bad ( http://youtube.com/watch?v=zqe4pajkbqs... )! I want to get signed by any record label possible but It doesnt matter because I sing for the fun of it.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I don't want to be mean....but come on...your family and friends can't be saying that that sounds good....I thought you were joking at first.....maybe in your country this is the sound that they like....like the Indian music that they play on the weekends.....that real high pitched singing....maybe in India they like that....but we in America don't....Your in a field that is very competitive....and you have to have something very unique or be very talented.... why not put this all over youtube and see what kind of feedback you get....I don't think people in America will go for this type of singing....but who knows...I could be wrong....just remember this is just my opinion....I wish you luck, I really do because you sound like you love it, but don't quit your day job !!!!!!!!! I believe in telling people the truth, not what they want to hear just to win best answer, so see what other people say, and by the way what does your family and friends say, do they tell you that your good !! Ask anyone who has tried to make it and they'll tell you it's VERY hard to get a deal, and even if you have one they can drop you at any time and you'll be back to square one. That's why so many musicians go the indy route and do a lot of the work themselves. sorry for saying this...but u sound horrible
