Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I think both. Because u get a natural talent, but u could learn how to do something. I know that I have a natural talent to some how act. But I wasn't good at dancing but my parents put me in a dance class and I dance fairly decent now. I guess a lot of it has to do with the motivation of the person. I mean u could have a natural talent, but u have to kind a dig in and see that u have a natural talent. I never knew I could write poems until oneday I got really bored and looked outside for a while and it somehow triggered me to write my first poem anout nature. I think we all have talents that can be developed, Some people might be better than others but sometimes people don't even try to see their talent and work on it.

Like I think u have a natural talent to ask good questions. Well I don't know whether it is a talent or not but hey I don't know whether u r developing it every day by asking more and more interesting questions. Either way, we all have talents that can be developed. But the only thing that matters is how u use it. I mean I canbe really good at science and good at bulding stuff, but if I use that to make bombs or something to kill people, U R wasting ur talents. But If I use that talent to invent something that can be good for the public that is what really counts. It is better to use ur talent 4 the good of other than developing a talent that it used to kill others. I know I am kinda moving away from the topic but I think the answer is BOTh I think somethings are like that. To be a good singer you have to be able to sing. Me I love to sing, and have been in choirs, but does that mean I'm a good singer? Heck no!!! The range of notes I can sing is very little without sounding like I'm trying to sing through my throat. I think with acting you have to be decent at memorizing, but it doesn't have to be a God-given talent.

Acting more so depends (for me at least) on how you were raised, and how much passion you have for the art. It is very rare that someone says "I want to act" (without any experience) and steps on a stage and acts skillfully.

Dancing requires both passion and talent that you were born with. Some people have a hard time dancing, while others it comes naturally for.

So basically I think it depends on the person as well as the skill that we're talking about. i'd say some come by birth and some are developed as u grow like me i was not a born dancer i learned as i grew and i am still learning, but my cousin he's a born singer and dance he did not learn how to sing and dance but he's doing shows in inida. like in jan or feb he did a show in jaipur and somewhere else and now he is ismail darbar's student cuz he wants to improve his singing. so i think u can be a natural star but u need to learn as u grow and tht's how u'll get success! I don't think it is always birth. Because i know someone who couldn't sing at first and went to singing lessons and now has a beautiful voice. I know someone else who has a beautiful voice and it came naturally. Now me i had to work and i got better. My cousin cant dance so she is developing it. and Acting you can learn to act like I'm learning how to act. But some people it comes naturally to act. It depends. For Acting, I would recommend

http://www.hollywoodnorth.com I do believe that most of what we call talent comes from exposure...For example, if a child is born in a place with no pianos and never sees or touches one, does he/she lack piano talent or exposure to one??? On the contrary, I had a friend whose father was a concert pianist who held her on his lap as he was practicing everyday... Of course this became her profession, too... As for the birth, I do believe that we are born with Karmic predispositions (likes/dislikes) for certain things, but the talent comes in the cultivation... I firmly do NOT believe in genetic superiority and the scientific research is there to support me... Talent is a gift but if you don't work on it as the years go by is actually the by not having it. hmmm.....i think u are partially right...i think its such a thing which comes by it ownself when u will...as u grow up....if u show interest in dance...then u'll love 2 dance...but if u dont show interest in dance then u'll never b able 2 love it...so i think it comes when u want....tc...sweet dreamz...bye....

Talents are inborn....they are to be nurtured
properly depending upon the environamental, and familial factors. More the encouragement from the family members, more it flourishes.....thats the nature's law... agree ?
