Question:

Mozart's biggest downfall?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Sadly, I think Wolfgang's biggest downfall was Leopold (his father) and how he was exploited as a "child star". He was raised amongst aristocracy though his job to them as a composer was considered "hired help". He did love the party scene from all accounts, and could not hold onto the money he made. I read where they compared his salary to $200,000+ a year by today's standards- but that he lived very a lavish lifestyle. I guess much like the stories we hear of the childhood stars today.

I guess it was a good thing he didn't have the paparazzi to deal with on a bad night. Too much partying and booze. He was the original party animal. Rheumatic fever He died very poor and was buried in a paupers grave site. gambling
