ok my mixer and speaker came today im new to this whole thing so, i tried to plug the speaker cable into the speaker and then into the back of the mixer but it wouldint fit. so i tried puting it in other inputs but didint get sound. do any of you know anything that can help?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: OK, 1. Is it a POWERED mixer? If not you have to plug its output to a power amp and then to the speaker. 2. If it is a powered mixer, find the MAIN OUT outputs (should be marked L and R) and go from there to the speakers. You might need "speakon" cables depending on the mixer. 3. Check the sound coming in - the input lights should light up if there is signal coming in - turn up the faders, gain, etc. 4. Read the manual if all else fails!!!
