What's the best guitar for playing metal leads?

I've had my Ibanez RG Series for about 4 years now, and it's good for riffs, but I don't like it's sound for playing leads. I think my pedal is ok. It's a DigiTech RP100. What's the best guitar for metal style leads in your opinion?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The RG should be fine - it has humbuckers so it's driving the amp enough. The weak link is probably the amp you're using.
