Do you have any musician quirks?

Question:

Do you have any musician quirks?

For example, I prefer playing my instruments while barefoot. Of course I'll wear shoes whenever I'm required (ie: a concert)... Anyone else have odd preferences?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: i have to dj in the dark. its such a forced habit for me to play in the dark (clubs and parties) i find i only play well in the dark now. Its weird i know I don't have anything weird that I do (at least I don't think so) but I know someone who sits on the piano bench cross-legged while practising :) When I am at home practicing, I will lay on my bed and play in the dark...Even though I can't see my music it's still fun. On my way to a gig I listen to music that is completely unrelated to what I'll be performing. That way (at least to me) the performance seems fresh and exciting. i find myself unconsciously drumming to whatever music is playing in my mind, on the radio, etc.
