I want to start playing the electric guitar. I have a couple of questions: 1) How much does a beginner set cost? 2) Is it easy to play it? 3) Can i get lessons online?

Then you should get a beginners guitar book that is recommended by a guitar teacher. I do recommend a teacher that is not online, especially if you've never learned music before, because you wont get down the proper techniques you need to play, plus reading notes and measures will give you a tough time too. A teacher who is there in person will be able to give you advice, and correct any mistakes you make. Usally a beginner set cost around 150 to 210. thats what i got mine anyway. i found it eaiserto play when u practice guitar hero or something because your fingers move like in a real guitar. and there are lessons online but it is harder to learn without a person there teaching. Best to start with an acoustic guitar and you can get a decent alvarez for about $200
