Position:Home>Performing Arts> A career in singing???Question: A career in singing???Is there any future in opera singing? I want to be an opera singer when I'm older. And have been told I have the voice. I love it, and have done some gigs and really want to pursue opera... I have a voice teacher, last year I did my grade 6 voice exam. Could any opera singers give me a word of advice? Or non opera singers tell me if they think this is a reasonable goal??? Sometimes I feel embarrassed to tell people, like my friends, because they think it's weird and bizaare... I'm not singing opera because I love listening it only, I have a pretty good voice I've been told and sound the best when I sing opera.
