Look for irony and the absurd. Also, be brutally honest. Honesty is funny. Talk about the things that make you uncomfortable. Talk about yourself. Be willing to show your vulnerability. Admit your weaknesses. I don't like comedians that pick on everyone else. Poke fun at yourself.
